Follow the links to find new documents regarding the training for those tribes or agencies wishing to participate in All-Hazard events. The Memorandum (NIMS Training Requirements) does a good job of describing the training requirements and offers some online avenues to accomplish these requirements. Please find a PowerPoint presentation for IS 700 and its corresponding test, and note that The IS-800 is intended for Strike Team Leaders and above, and must be taken online. The attached file details who is required to complete which training and testing.
Tribes and agencies with Indian Hotshot Crews and type 2 fire crews who are interested in the possibility of future work are encouraged to make sure you have enough qualified staff to accommodate the participation requirements.
