    Located within a short 3-minute walk of the Yakima Convention Center. Book your room at single occupancy rate of $91 per night, plus taxes. Double occupancy rate is $111 per night, plus taxes. This special rate is only available until June 3, 2017. Reservation requests after this date will be booked at the best available rate and are not guaranteed availability. Please have your credit card available to make a reservation.

    There is no need to worry if the Red Lion Hotel room block happens to sell out. There are thousands of hotel rooms near the Yakima Convention Center, most within walking distance. Other properties to consider include the Best Western, Howard Johnson, and Holiday Inn. Please note we do not have room blocks at these other properties.

  • The Engine Olympics are designed to test the readiness and skill of engine crews throughout Indian Country. Crews will compete in seven timed events, time penalties will be assessed for tardy participants and rewards will be issued for early arrivals. Prizes awarded to the best teams. Please note lunch is not provided.

  • Information for businesses interested in exhibiting at the symposium. It's a great opportunity to network with other professionals. Registration includes 2 exhibitors per booth.
    Onsite sales prohibited.


    The golf tournament will be a four-person best ball scramble played over 18 holes. The cost is $60 per person. $5 per mulligan or $20 per team (money donated to the Truman D. Picard Scholarship). The event includes putting contests, prizes and reception. Holes contests consist of longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt. Sign in at 11:00 am.
